Security
As in any other enterprise environment, a virtual environment -- especially one hosted on the cloud in a multi-tenant setting -- must be secure.
CloudShare has built security into every layer of its platform, in order to ensure complete segregation between environments, and to ensure that only legitimate users can access their environment instances.
Security aspects managed by the CloudShare platform include:
- Single sign-on for all application components
- VPN tunneling for accessing virtual components
- Correlation of assigned IPs with port management in firewalls/routers
