Randy L. Ditzler, Partner, Sequoia Capital
Randy Ditzler is a Partner with Sequoia Capital and focuses on systems and software investments. Prior to joining Sequoia in 2004, Randy served as the CEO of Actona Technologies (CSCO). Prior to joining Actona, Randy was the Founder & CEO of Telegis Networks. Earlier, Randy was the Founder & CEO of MarketOne Builders and before that the President & CEO of Freestone Investments. Randy has a BS in Industrial Technology from California State University in Fresno.
George Zachary, Partner, Charles River Ventures
George Zachary is a partner at Charles River Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley and Boston. George joined CRV in 2004 and he brings more than 17 years of operating and investing experience in computing and consumer technology. George's focus is on building great services and software technology companies. George led CRV's investments in SocialMedia, Twitter, Geni, Yammer, Millennial Media, One Season, and Metaplace. George also co-led CRV’s investment in Scribd.
Previously, George led the Nintendo 64 development business at Silicon Graphics, managed sales and marketing for virtual reality pioneer VPL Research, and served as a product marketeer at CATS Software. He is a board advisor to Stanford University’s SSE Ventures, which seed fund on-campus student startups. He is also an advisor to X PRIZE. George earned a joint BS from MIT and MIT Sloan School of Business. George also leads the Stanford CRV Research Council.
Adi Pundak-Mintz, Partner, Gemini Israel Funds
Adi Pundak-Mintz is an innovative deal maker and a leading seed investor in financial technologies. Since joining Gemini Israel Funds in 1999, Adi has lead investments in Traiana (sold to ICAP), Diligent (sold to IBM) dbMotion, Itemfield (sold to Informatica), NeoCleus, CloudShare, and Metrolight. Adi was also CEO of Sphera (sold to Parallels). Before becoming a venture capitalist, Adi held marketing and R&D positions with Nexus Telecommunications (NASDAQ:NSUSF). Prior to Nexus, he was an engineer at ECI Telecom (NASDAQ:ECIL), in the early days of the company's SDH business unit. Adi served in the Israeli Navy as a project engineer for Naval Underwater Systems, where he managed a $100M project. Adi holds an INSEAD MBA and two degrees from Ohio State University, a BSc with honors in Electrical Engineering and a BA with distinction in Mathematics. Adi was chosen by Yale University as a Yale World Fellow.
Ophir Kra-Oz, VP Products and Co-Founder
Gili Raanan, Partner, Sequoia Capital
Gili is a successful serial entrepreneur who has founded and led several companies in the enterprise software market. He is currently a General Partner with Sequoia Capital, and a board member at CloudShare, Correlix Inc., and few other privately held ventures. Gili served as VP of Strategy at EMC Corp, for its $700M system management software division
In 2003, Gili founded nLayers Inc, and served as CEO and President till nLayers' 2006 acquisition by EMC Corp. Between the years 1997-2002, Gili founded and served as the General Manager and SVP Products of Sanctum Inc, till its merger with Watchfire Inc. For more than ten years Gili worked for the Israeli government in several key innovative software projects, and for this work he was awarded the prestigious Israel Security Presidential Award of 1996. Gili is also the recipient of the Israeli Defense Forces Innovation award of 1992. Gili received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Economics from Tel Aviv University, with honors, and his MBA from The Recanati Business School. Gili is responsible for five US patents and one Israeli patent.
