Does social media matter?

Do you ever feel as though EVERYONE is jumping on the social media bandwagon? You can’t turn your head without being knocked over by the latest social app, monitoring tool, blog, twitter follower, FB company page, and this, and that, and…….and you get the picture.

My questions are these – is the enthusiasm and development surrounding social media and social marketing just a phase, or is this more than a passing trend? And if it is here to stay, as I believe it is, why does it matter to you?

Personally, I like that social media allows me to feel connected to friends that may not be in close physical proximity. There is an ease of relationship maintenance through social media that was never possible before. As a consumer, it’s great to know that I can quickly and easily reach a company through the social networks I already have in place and am active on; and I’m guessing you feel the same way.

That’s why, here at CloudShare, we try to be accessible to you through as many channels as possible. We want to know if you’re unhappy with something, when you’re excited about our product, and when you have a suggestion or comment.
