CloudShare’s September release introduces new ways to build, manage, and deliver hands-on experiences with less friction. The update expands Solis with new AI agents, adds MCP connectivity for AI clients, introduces visual guidance for learners, launches competitive experiences for team-based training, and lays the foundation for a more modern API.
Across the release, the focus is simple: make complex workflows easier without taking control away from the user. AI-assisted actions remain guided and transparent, with confirmation built in before changes go live.
Solis started by helping users create environments from a blueprint. Now, CloudShare is expanding its AI capabilities across more of the platform.
With the new agents, users can create:
Instead of navigating through every configuration manually, users can describe what they need and let Solis turn that request into a proposed setup. Solis gathers the required values, creates a plan for review, and waits for confirmation before taking action. Users can refine the plan along the way, including changing blueprints, policies, or other settings before anything is created.
The September release also extends CloudShare beyond its own interface through Model Context Protocol (MCP) support.
MCP allows users to perform CloudShare actions directly from supported AI clients, including:
CloudShare is also adding MCP setup to the integrations area, where users will be able to generate a token and copy the configuration needed for their preferred AI client.
Guided journeys are designed to walk learners through an experience step by step. Visual AI guidance makes those instructions easier to follow when interfaces become crowded or the next action is difficult to spot. From the experience editor, an instructor can select a guided journey step, identify the relevant on-screen element, and enable visual guidance. During the learner experience, CloudShare automatically highlights the matching area on screen, helping direct attention to the right place at the right moment.
The guidance is contextual rather than static. If CloudShare cannot identify a matching element on screen, no visual indicator appears.
One of the biggest additions in the September release is Competitive Experience, a new way to build two-team scenarios inside CloudShare. Originally designed with cybersecurity training in mind, Competitive Experience gives instructors two separate squad environments plus the option to connect them through a shared environment.
That makes it a natural fit for:
